Der Trainerstab der ägyptischen Fußballnationalmannschaft unter der Leitung von Hossam Hassan hat den Kader für das Trainingslager im September bekannt gegeben, das am heutigen Montag beginnen soll. Das Trainingslager umfasst Spiele gegen Äthiopien (5. September im Kairo-Stadion) und Burkina Faso (9. September im August 4-Stadion) in der siebten und achten Runde der afrikanischen WM-Qualifikation.

Hossam Hassan hat den Kader aus zwölf Vereinen ausgewählt, darunter sechs ausländische und sechs ägyptische Vereine. Al Ahly führt die Liste mit sieben Spielern an, gefolgt von Zamalek und Al-Bank Al-Ahly mit jeweils drei Spielern. ZED und Al-Masry SC stellen jeweils zwei Spieler. Es folgen jeweils ein Spieler von Al Ain und Al Jazira aus den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten, Al Wakrah aus Katar, Liverpool und Manchester City aus England sowie Nantes aus Frankreich.

Die ägyptische Nationalmannschaft nimmt voraussichtlich an der zweiten Ausgabe des Arab Cup in Katar teil, der am 1. Dezember beginnt und mit dem Finale am 18. Dezember endet.

Die ägyptische Nationalmannschaft bestreitet zwei Freundschaftsspiele gegen Tunesien, das erste am 6. und das zweite am 9. September.
Die ägyptische Nationalmannschaft wird voraussichtlich am Arabien-Pokal teilnehmen. Angeführt wird sie von Helmy Toulan, mit Ahmed Hassan als Teammanager und Essam El-Hadary als Torwarttrainer. Diese Entscheidung traf der ägyptische Fußballverband, nachdem Hossam Hassan, der Trainer der ägyptischen Nationalmannschaft, während der Vorbereitungen für den Afrika-Cup in Marokko die Teilnahme am Turnier abgelehnt hatte.

Zum Kader der ägyptischen Nationalmannschaft gehören Pyramids-Torhüter Ahmed El-Shenawy, Mohamed Elneny, ein Profi bei Al Jazira in den Vereinigten Arabischen Emiraten, Amr El-Sulaya, ein Spieler von Ceramica Cleopatra, sowie Mohamed Magdy Afsha, Hussein El-Shahat, Mostafa El-Esh und Karim Fouad, alle von Al Ahly.

Der Egypt Capital Cup 2025/26 beginnt während der Länderspielpause des Afrika-Cups 2025 im Dezember, die Gruppenphase endet am 17. Januar 2026.

Die teilnehmenden Mannschaften wurden in drei Gruppen aufgeteilt:

Die siebte Runde begann mit einem Spiel zwischen Arab Contractors und Pharco im Arab Contractors Stadium.

Trotz des torlosen Unentschiedens in der ersten Halbzeit wollten die Gastgeber nicht ohne Tor in die Kabine. Dies gelang Mahmoud Abu Gouda in der dritten Minute der Nachspielzeit mit einem Schuss von außerhalb des Strafraums, der Pharco-Torhüter Mohamed Saeed „Sheika“ verfehlte.

In der zweiten Halbzeit gelang den Gästen in der 79. Minute der Ausgleich durch Ramez Medhat, der einen freien Ball im Strafraum nutzte und ins Netz abfälschte, bevor Mahmoud Abu El-Saud, der Torhüter von Mokawloon, ihn erreichen konnte.

Mit diesem Ergebnis liegen die Arab Contractors nun mit vier Punkten auf dem 19. Platz der Ligatabelle und sind bisher sieglos. Pharco hingegen blieb mit drei Punkten aus drei Unentschieden am Tabellenende.

Al Masry und Ghazl El Mahalla

Am selben Tag empfing Al Masry Ghazl El Mahalla im New Suez Stadium. Port Said gewann das Spiel mit 2:1.

Die Heimmannschaft ging bereits nach vier Minuten durch Salah Mohsen in Führung, nachdem ein Schuss von Teamkollege Omar El Saai vom Torwart abprallte und Mohsen den Ball ins leere Tor beförderte.

Vor dem Ende der ersten Halbzeit gelang es El Mahalla, durch einen vom Schiedsrichter gegebenen Elfmeter wieder ins Spiel zu kommen, nachdem Ahmed Eid von El Masry Saidi Kibo von El Mahalla im Strafraum zu Fall gebracht hatte.

Ahmed Shousha trat an, schoss den Ball links neben den Torwart und erzielte in der sechsten Minute der Nachspielzeit das erste Tor.

Zu Beginn der zweiten Halbzeit, in der 47. Minute, erhielt Al Masry den zweiten Elfmeter des Spiels. Diesmal traf der Ball Al Masrys Mohamed Makhlouf an der Hand, woraufhin der Schiedsrichter auf Freistoß und Elfmeter entschied.

Salah Mohsen erzielte in der 51. Minute sein zweites Tor und sicherte seinem Team damit die drei Punkte.

Mit diesem Ergebnis rückte Al Masry mit 14 Punkten auf den zweiten Platz in der Liga vor und konkurrierte weiterhin mit zwei Punkten Vorsprung auf Tabellenführer Zamalek. Ghazl El Mahalla erlitt unterdessen seine erste Saisonniederlage und stagnierte mit acht Punkten auf dem zwölften Platz.
El Gouna und Petrojet

Am Ende des ersten Spieltags trennten sich El Gouna und Petrojet im Khaled-Bichara-Stadion 1:1.

Die erste Halbzeit blieb torlos, bevor die Heimmannschaft in der 51. Minute durch Arnaud, der einen Abpraller des Torhüters verwertete, in Führung ging.

In der 74. Minute kamen die Gäste durch ein Eigentor von El-Guna-Verteidiger Alpha Touray zurück ins Spiel.

El Gouna belegt nun mit sieben Punkten den 16. Platz, Petrojet mit zehn Punkten den neunten Platz.

Ismaily und Zamalek

Am zweiten Spieltag sicherte sich Zamalek im Suez Canal Authority Stadium mit 2:0 das Spitzenspiel gegen Gastgeber Ismaily.

Zamalek ging früh in Führung, nachdem Ismaily-Verteidiger Mohamed Ihab sieben Minuten nach Spielbeginn einen Elfmeter zugesprochen bekommen hatte. Der Elfmeter war auf ein Foul von Ismaily-Verteidiger Mohamed Ihab an Zamalek-Flügelspieler Juan Bezerra zurückzuführen.

Abdallah El-Said trat zum Elfmeter an und schoss den Ball erfolgreich links am Torwart vorbei ins Tor.

In der zweiten Halbzeit fing Adi El-Dabbagh den Ball von Ismaily-Spieler Mohamed Ammar ab, rannte aufs Tor zu und erzielte in der 56. Minute das zweite Tor des Spiels.

Damit blieb Ismaily mit vier Punkten auf Platz 20 und damit auf dem vorletzten Platz der Tabelle, während Zamalek mit 16 Punkten die Führung behauptete.

Modern Sport und ENPPI

Ein 2:2-Unentschieden zwischen Modern Sport und ENPPI entschied die spannende Begegnung im Cairo Stadium.

Enppi eröffnete den Torreigen mit einem Tor von Mohamed Sherif Hathoot, der in der 39. Minute eine Flanke von Teamkollege Marwan Dawood per Kopf verwandelte.

In der zweiten Halbzeit glich Modern Sport durch ein Tor von Jassam Hassan in der 53. Minute aus, nachdem er den Ball im Strafraum erhalten und ins Tor geschossen hatte.

Das Petrojet-Team ging durch Youssef Obaba in der 79. Minute erneut in Führung, als er eine Flanke von Teamkollege Ahmed Sobeiha ins Netz lenkte.

Die Heimmannschaft gab jedoch nicht auf und konnte in der Nachspielzeit, genauer gesagt in der fünften Minute der Nachspielzeit, durch Mahmoud Mamdouh ein zweites Mal zurückschlagen. Er erhielt einen Flachpass von Teamkollege Arnold Effa im Strafraum und schoss den Ball ins Netz, womit er in den letzten Sekunden den Ausgleich erzielte.

Mit diesem Ergebnis stieg die Punktzahl von Modern Sport auf 11 Punkte und belegte den fünften Platz, während Enppi weiterhin auf der Jagd nach ihm blieb und mit 10 Punkten den sechsten Platz belegte.
Al Ittihad Alexandria gegen Kahraba Ismailia

Im Alexandria Stadium feierte Kahraba Ismailia seinen ersten Sieg in der Nile League: Al Ittihad Alexandria wurde mit 1:0 besiegt.

Das einzige Tor des Spiels erzielte Mohamed „Sheika“ in der 71. Minute nach einer Flanke seines Teamkollegen Abdel Fattah Sheta. Sheika köpfte den Ball links an Al Ittihad-Torhüter Sobhi Soliman vorbei ins Netz.

Al Ittihad Alexandria bleibt mit diesem Ergebnis mit fünf Punkten auf Platz 17, Kahraba belegt mit gleicher Punktzahl den 18. Platz.

Pyramids gegen ZED

Pyramids gewann im Spiel im June 30 Stadium mit 1:0 gegen Gast ZED.

Das einzige Tor des Spiels erzielte Mostafa „Zico“ in der 73. Minute per Kopfball nach einer Flanke seines Teamkollegen Mohamed El-Sheeb. Zico köpfte den Ball nach dem Überqueren der Linie über die Torlinie.

Pyramids FC erreichte mit 11 Punkten den vierten Platz, während ZED FC mit 9 Punkten auf dem 11. Platz blieb.

Wadi Degla und Tala'ea El Gaish

Wadi Degla besiegte seinen Gast Tala'ea El Gaish im Al-Salam-Stadion mit 1:0.

Frank Boli erzielte in der 85. Minute das einzige Tor des Spiels. Sein Teamkollege Seif Teka köpfte den Ball im Strafraum an Boli, der ihn ins Netz beförderte.

Mit diesem Ergebnis kletterte Wadi Degla mit 13 Punkten in die Top Vier der Ligatabelle und belegt nun den dritten Platz, während Tala'ea El Gaish mit 8 Punkten auf dem 14. Platz blieb.

Smouha und Haras El Hodoud

Smouha besiegte seinen Gast Haras El Hodoud im Borg El Arab Stadion mit 1:0.

Baba Badji erzielte in der 29. Minute das einzige Tor des Spiels, indem er eine Flanke von Khaled El Ghatdoor einköpfte.

In der Schlussphase der regulären Spielzeit, in der 85. Minute, verschossen die Gäste einen Elfmeter, nachdem Ahmed Mihoub einen Schuss von Mohamed Hamdy Zaki abgewehrt hatte. Das Spiel endete mit einem 1:0-Sieg für die Blues.

Mit diesem Ergebnis verbesserte sich Smouha auf 10 Punkte und belegt nun den siebten Platz, während Haras El Hodoud mit 8 Punkten auf Platz 13 verblieb.

Al Ahly und Ceramica Cleopatra

Al Ahly beendete die siebte Runde mit einem 1:0-Sieg gegen seinen Gast Ceramica Cleopatra. Die beiden Teams trafen im Cairo Stadium aufeinander.

Mahmoud Hassan „Trezeguet“ erzielte nach einem Passwechsel mit seinem Teamkollegen Achraf Bencharki das einzige Tor des Spiels. Trezeguet schoss den Ball in der 26. Minute ins Netz und sicherte sich damit die drei Punkte.

Damit liegt Al Ahly nun mit neun Punkten auf dem zehnten Platz, während Ceramica Cleopatra mit zehn Punkten auf dem achten Platz bleibt.

Gesamt

In zehn Spielen wurden 18 Tore erzielt, wobei die Partie zwischen Modern Sport und ENPPI mit vier Toren die höchste Torzahl aufwies.

Salah Mohsen führte zusammen mit seinem Teamkollegen Abdel Rahim Daghmoum (beide Spieler von Al Masry) die Torschützenliste der Liga mit jeweils vier Toren an.

8. DR Congo Linafoot
