Glen signs

July 13, 2017

We are delighted to announce the signing of Glen Kamara this afternoon.
Glen has been on trial with the club for the last two weeks and has impressed manager Neil McCann and his backroom staff in training and also in the pre-season matches against St. Mirren, Arbroath and Brechin City.
A Finland under 21 international, central midfielder Glen joins the club from Arsenal where he has been in the academy system for five years.

Sofien is a Dee

Dundee Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of striker Sofien Moussa this afternoon.
Tunisian born, Sofien has most recently played his football in Bulgaria with FC Lokomotiv GO.
The 29 year old, started his career in his home country playing for both AS Marsa and Étoile du Sahel before moving to Norwegian club Tromsø in 2016.

Elliot signs

We are delighted to announce that Elliot Parish has joined the club on a one year deal.
Goalkeeper Elliot joins the club after a successful spell on trial where he has impressed the coaching staff.
English born, Elliot came through the youth ranks at Aston Villa and in 2009 he represented his country at the Under 20 World Cup in Egypt.

The 24 year old centre half has been with the club through the summer working hard on the rehabilitation of a knee injury sustained last season.

Dundee Football Club is delighted to announce the signing of defender Jon Aurtenetxe on a deal until January, subject to international clearance.

25 year old Jon comes to the club with experience of playing in La Liga having featured over 100 times for Athletic Bilbao and also for Celta Vigo in the top flight.

He also has experience of playing European football from his time with Bilbao. Jon made his debut in the Europa League at the age of 17 and three years later played in the final of the competition.

In domestic competition he also reached the final of the Copa del Rey on two occasions, twice falling at the final hurdle to Barcelona.

Jon was with the club last week on trial and impressed Neil McCann and his coaching staff.

Unser Ex-Spieler Jon Aurtenetxe schließt sich dem Dundee FC an. Zuletzt hat er sich bei der SD Amorebieta fit gehalten und auch die ersten Ligaspiele mit dem Verein absolviert. Leider konnte er an die starken Leistungen unter Marcelo Bielsa nie so recht anknüpfen, sodass er in den letzten Jahren mehrfach verliehen wurde. Hoffentlich läuft es in Schottland für ihn besser, werde jetzt vielleicht auch mal in das ein oder andere Spiel reinschauen. Zorte on, Aurte!

Ganz ehrlich, was ging denn da ab? Hendry zu Celtic für 1,2 Mio Pfund, okay, so hoch hätte ich ihn nicht bewertet, aber auch Partick Thistle hat ja damals schon eine Ablöse für ihn bekommen von Wigan. Dann geht Simon Murray zu Dundee (verstehe ich aus Hibs-Sicht nicht wirklich) und Allan andersrum zu den Hibs, die Murray aber durch Kamberi und MacLaren ersetzt haben... aber es sind eh alles nur Leihen.
Und dann geht Scott Bain noch von Dundee zu den Hibs zu Celtic Was wollen die denn mit Bain? Mal schauen, wo das alles endet... was die Spielzeit angeht, sieht es für Simon Murray zumindest am Besten aus, einen Topstürmer hatten die Dees bisher ja nicht wirklich.

Kusunga signs

Dundee Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of central defender Genseric Kusunga, subject to international clearance.
Genseric is an Angolan international and has experience of playing in both the Europa League and Champions League.
He came through the ranks at Servette in Switzerland before moving to FC Basel in 2010 where he got experience of European football.
Genseric knows the British game having sent two seasons with Oldham south of the border.
Most recently he has played with União da Madeira in Portugal.
