Millar returns to Morton

Experienced midfielder Chris Millar has returned to Morton as new manager Ray McKinnon's first signing at Cappielow.
The 35-year-old played for the Greenock club from 2003 and 2008 then spent a decade with St Johnstone before leaving McDiarmid Park at the end of the season.

Charlie Telfer signs for Morton

Greenock Morton Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Charlie Telfer on a one-year contract that runs until 10 June 2019.
The 22-year-old former Rangers, Dundee United, and Livingston ace has recently returned to Scotland following a spell playing in the Netherlands with Eerste Divisie outfit Almere City.

Breaking | McAlister makes Morton homecoming

Greenock Morton Football Club are thrilled to announce the signing of Jim McAlister on a one-year contract that sees him return home to Cappielow after eight years away, subject to international clearance.
Rothesay-born McAlister broke through the ranks here as a teenager and went on to make 272 appearances, scoring 19 goals, in the blue and white hoops between 2002 and 2010.
The 32-year-old moved to Hamilton Accies and then enjoyed three-year spells with both Dundee, with whom he won the Championship in season 2013/14, and Blackpool.

The 23-year-old returns to Cappielow for a second spell with the club following his recent release by English League Two outfit Colchester United.

Dundee defender Kerr Waddell joins on loan

Greenock Morton are delighted to announce that Dundee defender Kerr Waddell has today signed a six-month loan deal with the club.
The 20-year-old centre-half is a product of the Dens Park youth academy and enjoyed a loan stint with Clyde prior to making his competitive debut in a Betfred Cup tie against Raith Rovers at the beginning of last term.
He went on to establish himself as a first-team regular with the Premiership outfit, making a total of 22 appearances as Dundee preserved their top-flight status, memorably scoring twice in a 2-1 win over Hearts.
Manager Ray McKinnon has today moved to bolster his backline by bringing Waddell to the Ton on a temporary transfer that runs until 16 January 2019.

Reghan Tumilty signs for Morton

Greenock Morton Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of defender Reghan Tumilty on a one-year contract that runs until 10 June 2019.
The 21-year-old right-back spent the majority of last term on loan at Falkirk from parent club Ross County, making 20 appearances for the Bairns in the Ladbrokes Championship.
Tumilty left the Staggies this summer following two seasons in the Highlands and, after impressing as a trialist in a closed-door game against Queen’s Park, gaffer Ray McKinnon has moved to add him to his squad.

Kyle Thomson signs for Morton

Greenock Morton Football Club are pleased to confirm the signing of midfielder Kyle Thomson on a six-month contract until 15 January 2019, subject to international clearance.
The 22-year-old played for Loyola Ramblers, the varsity football team of Loyala University based in Chicago, until completing his studies this summer.

Connor Bell signs for Morton

Greenock Morton Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of striker Connor Bell on a one-year contract that runs until 10 June 2019.
The 22-year-old frontman spent last term with fellow Ladbrokes Championship outfit Inverness Caledonian Thistle, scoring seven goals in 26 starts and nine substitute appearances in all competitions.
Prior to his season-long stint in the Highlands, Bell was on the books at Welsh clubs Wrexham and Rhyl, and Servette in Switzerland.
