Yangcheon FC

Seoul Yangcheon FC (서울 양천 FC) was an amateur football team that played from 1995 to 2009. In 1995 it was founded as Sungeun Church. It was an amateur soccer team for missionary purposes, and was mainly active in the Seoul area. Since 2000, it is re-established as FC Sungeun, an amateur soccer team made up of college, professional, business players and entertainers. After that, in 2006, he won the runner-up in the 1st 'Monthly Free Kick Cup Amateur Soccer Tournament' and made his name public for the first time. From August 2009, with the goal of participating in the K3 League, the team name was changed to Seoul Citizen, and in September of the same year, the team name was confirmed as Seoul Yangcheon FC, and specific activities such as a friendly match with the K3 League team began. Finally, on December 4, 2009, the opening ceremony was held in the auditorium of Yangcheon-gu Office and announced to participate in the K3 league.. The official website was also opened, but in the end, participation in the league was not successful. The specific reason for the failure was not disclosed, but it is presumed to be financial difficulties.
